Class Descriptions and Dress Code
First Grade and up dress code additions
- No prints, logos or midriffs
- Hair is always pulled back and off face in a bun or ponytail. If hair is not long enough it must be pulled/pinned back
- No accessories in the hair for classes (no flowers or bows)
- Appropriate shoes must be worn in all classes, no bare feet or socks
- Footed or convertible tights must be worn with shoes
- No jewelry for classes
- No elastics around wrists
Parent/Toddler
- (parent participation required)
- 6 months - 36 months
- 30 minute class
- Students will be introduced to music and creative movement while learning the basics of dance and a dance class alongside an adult. Great opportunity to meet new parents and friends in the community.
- Uniform - Comfortable clothing with ballet shoes or dance sneakers.
Creative Kids
- 2.0 - 3.5 years old
- 45 minute class
- Students will be in a dance class on their own. No parent assistance. It is the next level up from our Parent/Tot class. Learning the basics of dance, creative movement and musicality.
- Uniform - Comfortable clothing with ballet shoes or dance sneakers
- 60 minute class
- Uniform - Pink, tan or black footed tights, black leotard. Pink ballet shoes and tan tap shoes.
- Hair - ponytail or bun
- Optional: Black dance shorts, black skirt, black leggings, fitted black tee
- 45 minute - 60 minute class
- Uniform - any comfortable clothing that dancers can dance and stretch in comfortably. Personal style is encouraged. Sneakers for studio only required. Doesn't have to be new but sneakers for dance studio floor only.
- Teacher favorite sneakers for hip hop - adidas, puma, vans.
Ballet
- Uniform - solid black leotard unembellished (black/tank bra undergarment if needed) Pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes.
- Hair - In a bun. If hair is too short pulled back so not hanging in face
- Optional: Black dance shorts, black skirt, black leggings, fitted black tee
- Uniform - solid black leotard unembellished (black tank/ bra undergarment if needed) Tan footed tights, tan tap shoes for 6th grade and under. 7th grade and up Black tie up tap shoes.
- Hair - Bun or ponytail. If hair is too short pulled back so not hanging in face.
- Optional: Black dance shorts, black skirt, black leggings, fitted black tee
- Uniform - solid black leotard unembellished (black tank/bra undergarment if needed) Tan footed tights, tan Jazz shoes (no laces)
- Hair - Bun or ponytail. If hair is too short pulled back so not hanging in face.
